Will always love the Thomas Bros. Maps line.

Thomas Brothers Maps were bought out from Rand McNally in the late 90's. It's too bad they shut down all California operations and scaled back the production of these maps. They were the most detailed, accurate maps you can ever find. RM has also scaled down the printing of TB maps and say they will sell editions every 2-3 years. You really can't blame them, tough. Due to GPS Navigation systems, Google Maps, MapQuest, etc, the demand for printed maps has fallen and will eventually dissappear. It was a good run while it lasted.

I expected a more current Thomas guide than a 2006 year.This prioduct is 6 years old. I was expecting a guide no more than 2 years old.

I don't remember buying this but have seen them before and if you are not GPS connected..the map is great. I prefer the map!
