About the Author
Jon Weece is the lead teaching pastor at Southland Christian Church, a community of 14,000 Christ-followers in Lexington, Kentucky. He is the author of Jesus Prom. Prior to Southland, Jon was a missionary to Haiti for four years, where he met his wife, Alli. They have two children.

The author, Jon Weece, has captured the essence of God's word and goes about living it. We are called to love one another which is not always easy as it requires selflessness which is not what our "selfie" culture promotes. The book is an easy and quite enjoyable read; it is not a deep theological study or complicated in any manner - Jon keeps it simple and focused. I encourage people to also check out his website and click on the "Jesus Prom" icon to see the words of the book in action. I have already given away my copy of the book and plan to give away more.
